What is Credit Repair?

Credit repair involves identifying and addressing inaccuracies or discrepancies on your credit report to improve your credit score. We follow legal laws under the FCRA Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Is Credit Repair Legal?

How do split payments work?

We use Split Pay on DFY packages: 50% deposit via our website for setup/audit, and the remaining 50% after verified Round 1 results via DisputeFox AutoPay.We comply with the Telemarketing Sales Rule (16 CFR Part 310).

When is the second payment due?

After we complete Round 1 disputes andverified resultsare received, DisputeFox will process the remaining 50% (approximately 30-45 days after first payment).

Chargebacks / refunds?

Refunds after services begin stop all work immediately. False chargebacks incur a $500 fee and may be sent to collections.

Can I cancel?

Yes. You have3 business days(or as stated by law in your state) to cancel for a full refund if no credit consultation occurred. See “Notice of Right to Cancel” in your agreement.

Can I rejoin after dismissal?

Yes. A $250 reinstatement fee plus any outstanding balance is required.

What if my account is past due?

At 5 days past due with inactive monitoring, you’re subject to dismissal. If monitoring is active, there’s an additional 5-day grace. At day 10 with no payment, the account is dismissed and portal access is revoked.

What does my deposit cover?

Your deposit covers file setup, credit audit, and dispute preparation. It is not a charge for credit-repair results.

How long is onboarding?

About 7–10 business days for portal access, agreement signing, and letter processing.

Do you work weekends?

No. Messages are answered Mon–Fri. Please use the portal for all correspondence (not the mobile app or DMs).

What if there are no results after Round 1?

Then thesecond payment is not collected. We bill for credit-repair resultsonly afterthey are verified.

Can you dispute new negatives that appear after I start?

New items added after onboarding require a $75 per item paid-in-full fee to address.You can pay here.

What happens if I stop credit monitoring?

If monitoring is inactive, your case can be dismissed. We need active access to pull updates and proceed.

Can I message on social media/DM?

No. All communication must stay in the client portal to protect your case and timeline.

When do I see results?

Credit monitoring typically updates every 35–45 days. After Round 1 is sent, we review updates and plan next steps.

How Long It Take to Repair Credit?

The duration of credit repair can vary based on individual circumstances. On average, the process takes approximately four to six months, but it's important to note that this timeline is flexible and depends on the complexity of the issues at hand. Is there anything you can do to speed up the process of credit repair?

NO! WE do not work for the credit bureaus Unfortunately they control how fast disputes are responded to.

If I miss a payment on my payment plan/monthly payment without notice what happens?

ALL SERVICES WILL BE TERMINATED IMMEDIATELY IF YOU VIOLATE YOUR PAYMENT AGREEMENT. THERE WILL BE NO FURTHER LETTERS SENT ON YOUR BEHALF OR UPDATES GIVEN FOR NON-CLIENTS. PLEASE CEASE ALL COMMUNICATION VIA EMAIL AS IT WILL NOT BE RESPONDED TO.

How do I know that letters are being sent out?

In Identity IQ in the comment section of every account it should say consumer disputes account. You will also receive an email from us.

Is credit coaching included under the any sale?

NO. Although I charge a separate fee for credit coaching, I will inform you by email if I see something hurting your credit score.

When will I receive updates?

All updates will be seen through the portal.

Can I apply for credit cards during credit repair?

NO! We prefer you to wait until you we have completed services to apply for anything. If you don’t have ANY credit cards then you may apply for one credit card during your services. We prefer you apply for a capital one or discover card. You may also apply for a credit card with your bank WHO YOU HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH. You also have been EMAILED A CHEAT SHEET TO HELP YOU

What documents will be needed for credit repair?

ID with current address on it, Utility bill with current address on it.

I have not received any mail from these disputes what does that mean?

I have no control over the credit bureaus sending mail. I can only control what I send out.

I am trying to become a homeowner what should I be doing?

Credit is only one SMALL piece of the puzzle in homeownership. You should be building/maintaining a savings account (5-20K). Try to minimize as much debt as possible to reduce your debt to income ratio.

What happens if I receive a stall letter?

WE redispute all the accounts.

Do I need to send you all collection letters I receive in the mail?

No. If a debt collector is harassing you please let your agent know via email.

What is the email response time?

7-14 BUSINESS DAYS.

I had a repo/car accident can I apply for a new car?

Do what’s best for you! I would just like a courtesy email and also a word of advice PLEASE get a preapproval from capital one. We can worry about APR after your repair is over….you can refinance for a lower rate.

How long does it take to see results?

Although WE do not guarantee anything results time varies based off the profile. Please keep in mind if you have previously disputed or went to another credit repair company it may take longer.

Does credit repair guarantee 100% removal?

R&B Family Solutions complies with the Federal Trade Commission, State, and Local government regulations and the Credit Repair Organization Act, in that we cannot, by law, guarantee a specific outcome or result. However, we do promise to legally do everything possible on your behalf to restore your good credit.

How can I keep track of my credit repair process?

We assign you a personal username and password to access our online portal http://Secureclientaccess.com (http://Secureclientaccess.com) to track your credit repair process. Our customer service representatives are also available Monday thru Friday from 8:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m to answer any questions you may have.

Can I reactivate my account?

Yes you can reactivate your account, although we do not recommend stopping you can always continue your credit process, contact our Credit Specialists for an account overview to see what your options are.
